CDF Advocates’ Translation Department was established in 2002 in order to cater for the ever-increasing demand for translation of legal texts into Maltese.
Between 2002 and 2004 the firm has successfully assisted the Maltese Government in the translation of a substantial part of the acquis communautaire into Maltese. Translation work is usually performed through an associated company called Fintel Limited.
CDF Advocates’ and Fintel Limited’s past and present clients include the Government of Malta, the European Commission and the European Court of Justice.
Our translation team is composed of in-house and freelance translators and revisers with the capability of translating from English, Italian, French, Spanish and German into Maltese.
